Local storage and encryption

Pilgrim profiles, groups, settings, and field mappings are stored in this Chrome profile. Sensitive profile data is encrypted at rest with browser Web Crypto. Your PIN is not stored. A recovery key, shown once, is the only way we can help you set a new PIN.

No sale or advertising use

We do not sell, rent, trade, or use pilgrim information for advertising. Version 1 has no product analytics, cloud account, or TTD Pilgrim Mitra backend.

Data sent to the official TTD page

Only after you request autofill, selected details are decrypted and provided to the supported official TTD booking page. Those pages are ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in and tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in, both run by TTD, and their subdomains. Information entered there is then governed by TTD's website and privacy practices.

Backups and retention

Encrypted backup files are created only when you request an export. You control where those files are stored. Local information remains until you delete it, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension.

Your choices

You can review, edit, export, or delete your local information. Delete All Data permanently removes the local vault unless you previously created a usable encrypted backup.

Information we do not request

Do not save TTD passwords, OTPs, payment card details, UPI secrets, CAPTCHA answers, cookies, or session tokens in this extension.

Limited use of your information

Our collection and use of pilgrim information adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Saved details are used for one thing only: filling the official TTD booking form when you ask for it, and telling you what was filled. They are never transferred to us or to anyone else, never used for advertising, credit, or lending decisions, and never read by a person. There is no server for them to be sent to.

Permissions

Three permissions, and no more. Storage holds local extension data. Active-tab access lets the popup see whether the tab in front of you is a supported page, and talk to it when you ask for a fill. Scripting re-inserts this extension's own content script into a TTD tab that was already open when the extension was installed or updated, which Chrome does not do by itself; nothing else is ever injected, and never into another site. Access to the two official TTD hosts is used only for page detection and the autofill you asked for.

Security limits

Encryption protects stored data while the vault is locked. It cannot protect an unlocked device, a compromised operating system, someone who knows your PIN, or information after it is entered into the TTD website.

TTD Pilgrim Mitra is an independent third-party utility. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. It does not guarantee availability or booking success.
